Support Resources

Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance

DBSA in-person and online support groups give people living with depression and bipolar disorder a safe, welcoming place to share experiences, discuss coping skills, and offer each other hope.

The Trevor Project

The Trevor Project’s mission is to end suicide among LGBTQ+ young people. TrevorSpace is an international community for queer youth ages 13-24 where you can connect with, and make new, LGBTQ friends.

Glaad

Founded in 1985, GLAAD is a non-profit organization focused on LGBTQ advocacy and cultural change. Serving as a storyteller, media force, resource, and advocate, GLAAD tackles tough issues and provokes dialogue so that authentic LGBTQ stories are seen, heard, and actualized. GLAAD strives to protect all that has been accomplished and helps create a world where everyone can live the life they love.

The Safe Zone Project

The Safe Zone Project (SZP) is a free online resource providing curricula, activities, and other resources for educators facilitating Safe Zone trainings (sexuality, gender, and LGBTQ+ education sessions), and learners who are hoping to explore these concepts on their own. Co-created by Meg Bolger and Sam Killermann in 2013, the SZP has become the go-to resource for anyone looking to add some Safe Zone to their life.
